About Jeff Hennen
Jeff Hennen is a professional drummer, educator and clinician with a love for teaching. Teacher of all ages, beginner to advanced, skilled in playing and teaching all styles of music. He has played and toured with numerous bands for over 30 years, with over 20 years of teaching experience in the Dallas area. Teaching thousands of lessons to hundreds of students.
State Champion of the 1997 Guitar Center Drum Off and National competitor, he's had two former students who have done the same. Several of Jeff's students have gone on to become professional drummers as well as local drum instructors themselves. He has also had two students who have chosen to study with him after receiving Gold Records for work they had done previously in the music industry. He considers this quite an honor and an compliment to his teaching.
An excellent communicator, Jeff has the ability to make the most basic and simple concepts fun while making the most advanced and difficult ideas understandable.
No matter what your goals, age or skill level, Jeff makes each lesson fun, exciting and challenging. Every lesson is tailored to the wants and needs of each individual student, teaching the music and styles in which they are most interested. No two students are the same so neither are the lessons!
